It has been common that Cheong Wa Dae officials or ministers quit and seek an Assembly seat or a municipality head position, and they usually win because their experience of working at the presidential office is an advantage when the administration is still gaining large public support.

青瓦台官員或部長辭職並尋求國會席次或地方首長職位，（在南韓）一向司空見慣。這些人通常也會勝選，因為當政府仍得到許多民眾支持時，他們在總統府工作的經驗乃一項優勢。
