In a room crammed from ceiling to floor with boxes, cabinets and drawers of Lego bricks, Hoang Dang intently builds a bright blue, yellow and red fishing boat with a Vietnamese flag.

The industrial designer has loved Lego for as long as he can remember, but started collecting it seriously a few years ago on an overseas study trip to Detroit.

這名工業工程師有記憶以來就熱愛樂高，但直到數年前因為海外研習去了底特律後，才開始認真收集。

Hoang is most inspired by scenes close to home in Vietnam, painstakingly recreating his childhood house, a temple in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and a 1990s living room during Lunar New Year, all in intricate and colorful miniature detail.

鄰近越南家鄉的場景最能啟發黃登的靈感，因此他煞費苦心地重現他童年的家、河內老城區的一間寺廟，以及1990年代農曆新年期間的客廳等，所有作品都講究細節且色彩鮮豔。

Despite a collection of over two million Lego bricks, Hoang is always on the hunt for new pieces. "Building Lego helps me to recharge my creative energy after working on long and tiring projects."（Reuters）

儘管已收集逾兩百萬塊樂高積木，黃登還是一直收集新積木。「堆造樂高讓我在執行長期且累人的工作後，重新注滿創意能量。」（路透）
